Elbeco Incorporated has announced a number of upgrades to the standard uniform trouser design. These innovations help strengthen and bring added comfort to apparel that individuals must wear every day in the line of duty. Uniform trousers are designed to live up to the rigors of an active workload. Reinforcements are added at all stress points of the garment to assure they will perform in the line of duty. No one can afford to have a uniform fail out in the field.
Triple Strength Stitching
Elbeco introduces the new Triple Strength Stitching to its stock trouser line. This new standard feature provides a tremendous strength advantage over standard uniform trouser seams, preventing crotch blowout!
Comfort Cut Design
Elbeco’s Comfort Cut style adds more fabric in the seat and thigh, making the trouser 30% roomier than traditional trouser designs. This feature has been made available on the Duty Plus series (E234, E254, E259) and selected Postal trouser (E8991) and short (E8970) designs.
ComfortStretch Waistband
Elbeco’s new ComfortStretch waistband features a stretch band with a smooth flexible silicone channel, which is half the weight, more durable and more comfortable than Snug-Tex. The silicone technology, named ComfortGrip, was made a standard feature on Elbeco stock trousers in 2000. This upgrade applies to the stretch waistband styles.
Creaset Permanent-Press Seams
This new technology lays a bead of specially formulated silicone along the front and rear seam of selected Elbeco trousers, setting a permanent crease that will not wash out.
These new features are added to standard features that have made Elbeco’s uniform trousers a superior choice for years, including double plied, cotton blended crotch lining, bar tacks at stress points, extra-deep pockets, one-inch belt loops, Elbeco’s Comfortgrip waistband, and french fly.
