Elbeco has upgraded the neck and cuffs of its Regulation series turtlenecks, mock turtlenecks and dickies to improve performance and increase comfort.
"Departments in colder climates are increasingly moving towards customized turtleneck style shirts, to provide protection from the elements," says Andrew Foss, Marketing Director at Elbeco.
Elbeco’s mocks and turtlenecks have features that put them in a class above commercially available shirts. The Regulation series features a beefy 100% pre shrunk cotton body. The Comfort Cut combines an athletic body design with generous, extra long tails to allow for added mobility, even when worn over body armor. Reinforced elastic shoulder seams give them superior strength and freedom of movement. The neck and shoulder seams are secured with a coverstitch for durability and a professional appearance. They are jet dyed to achieve superior color retention and matched to standard uniform colors to assure consistency in existing uniform programs.
The neck and cuffs are essential in keeping the warmth integrity of these cold-weather garments. We increased the fabric weight of the seamless neck and cuffs to 7.25 ounces. By so doing, we have achieved increased comfort and garment life. Lycra spandex assures permanent stretch over the life of the garment. We have also improved the design of our stock dickies to improve their fit over the shoulders.
A further improvement has been made to all designs by relocating the labeling from the neck to the body of the garment. This is for improved comfort in the neck area of the garment.
Elbeco provides customizing services for embroidery, attaching patches, striping and badges that signify department and community as well as to provide the professional touches that set a department apart from the rest.
